BA (2035)

The Bachelor of Arts (BA) program was launched in 2035 BS and has been a 4-year program since 2076 BS. BA programme has a mission of educating students and developing them into informed citizenry as well as producing quality human resources required for the nation. The program is dedicated to enhancing the quality of educated individuals by integrating robust theoretical foundations with practical knowledge application, including fieldwork, research, and writing.

BA programme has been offering courses on number of disciplines. In addition to Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) course, DMC offers a range of major (optional) subjects, including English, Nepali, Economics, Sociology, Anthropology, Mathematics, History, and Political Science.

Career Opportunities: Graduates from the faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (BA) can pursue careers in various sectors including civil service, education/teaching service, research, NGOs, media, and commercial sectors.

BCA (2080)

The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) course is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in computer science and applications. It addresses crucial areas like programming, software development, database management, and systems analysis, providing graduates with the skills necessary for diverse Information Technology (IT) and computing careers. The program integrates theoretical insights with skills and experience to prepare students for the updated technology sector.

Career Opportunities: Graduates from The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) can pursue career as a Software Developer, Web Developer, Analyzing and improving IT systems and processes, Database Administrator, Network Administrator, IT Consultant, Technical Support Specialist, Cybersecurity Analyst, Business Analyst, Project Manager, career in artificial intelligence (AI).
