Established in 2019 B.S., Dhawalagiri Multiple Campus (DMC) has progressively emerged as a distinguished institution within the Dhawalagiri area. The campus has achieved accreditation from the University Grants Commission (UGC) in recognition of its adherence to Quality Assurance and Accreditation (QAA) standards. This accreditation underscores DMC’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence and has significantly enhanced its reputation.
DMC graduates have achieved notable success in bureaucratic, academic, commercial, and socio-political fields both within Nepal and internationally. The establishment of Dhawalagiri Multiple Campus represents the collective aspirations of the Dhawalagiri community.
Situated in the heart of Baglung Municipality, at the intersection of the Kaligandaki Corridor and Mid-Hilly Highways, the campus's strategic location enhances accessibility to higher education.
In its early stages, DMC operated evening classes in the school building of Vidyamandir High School, a well-known institution in Baglung Bazaar and a current feeder school. Presently, DMC owns approximately 88 ropanies of land and has developed a range of facilities to support academic, administrative, and residential needs.
Since its establishment, Dhawalagiri Multiple Campus has consistently pursued its core mission of providing high-quality education. DMC provides a diverse range of academic programs across its various faculties and institutes. These include the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FoHSS), Faculty of Education (FoE), Faculty of Management (FoM), and Institute of Science and Technology (IoST).

DMC offers several Bachelor programmes: Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), and Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology Education (BICTE).
The Bachelor of Arts (BA) program was launched in 2035 B.S. and has been a 4-year program since 2076 B.S. The BA programme aims to educate students, develop them into informed citizens, and produce quality human resources required for the nation.
DMC offers major subjects including English, Nepali, Economics, Sociology, Anthropology, Mathematics, History, and Political Science.
Graduates can pursue careers in civil service, education/teaching service, research, NGOs, media, commercial sectors, and other fields related to Humanities and Social Sciences.
The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program has been a 4-year course since 2072 B.S. The program focuses on enhancing the quality of teacher education by combining strong theoretical foundations with practical pedagogical skills.
DMC offers English Education, Nepali Education, Economics Education, Health & Physical Education, Mathematics Education, History Education, and Political Science Education.
Graduates can pursue careers as teachers, teacher educators, educational researchers, educational planners and managers, curriculum designers, and other professionals in the education sector.
The Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) program has been a 4-year course since 2072 B.S. Its primary goal is to prepare students for professional careers in business and industry.
In the fourth year, DMC offers concentration areas in Finance, Marketing, Accounting, and General Management.
Graduates can work as researchers, planners, managers, executives in financial organizations and banking, consultants, auditors, entrepreneurs, and leaders in different business sectors.
DMC launched the Bachelor programme in Science and Technology (B.Sc.) in 2068 B.S., and it has been a 4-year course since 2070 B.S. The program is committed to high-quality science and technology education and research.
DMC offers Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, and Mathematics as major subjects in its Bachelor of Science program.
Graduates can pursue careers in scientific research, civil service and government agencies, NGOs and consulting firms, education and teaching, discoveries, and innovation.
The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program was launched in 2075 B.S. It is an 8-semester program. DMC offers Finance and Marketing as concentration areas within the BBA program.
Graduates can pursue careers as researchers, planners, managers, executives in financial organizations and banking, consultants, counselors, auditors, entrepreneurs, and leaders in national and international markets.
The Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology Education (BICTE) program was launched at Dhawalagiri Multiple Campus in 2082 B.S. It is a 4-year, 8-semester undergraduate degree program designed to produce competent Information Technology professionals with strong technical knowledge, practical skills, and educational competencies.
BICTE is one of the most affordable IT bachelor’s degree programs offered by a Tribhuvan University constituent campus, making quality IT education accessible to students from diverse backgrounds. The program integrates theoretical learning with hands-on practical experience through modern computer laboratories, Digital Logic Lab, project-based learning, workshops, internships, and industry-oriented skill development activities.
In addition to regular academic courses, BICTE students are encouraged to participate in various non-credit skill development programs such as Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence Tools, Web Development, Graphic Designing, Hardware & Networking, Cloud Computing, Digital Content Creation, Programming Workshops, and Career Development Programs.
The BICTE degree also provides a strong academic foundation for higher studies in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Educational Technology, and other related disciplines in Nepal and abroad.

Master-level courses are offered in a semester system. Each course extends up to four semesters. The programs/courses offered at the master level are as follows:
DMC offers a range of Bachelor programs across its faculties and institutes: Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FoHSS), Faculty of Education (FoE), Faculty of Management (FoM), and Institute of Science and Technology (IoST).
These programs are generally conducted on an annual system over four years, with the exception of the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology Education (BICTE), which operate under a semester system.
Admission to these programs requires the successful completion of an entrance examination. Candidates who have completed their secondary education (10+2) in any stream are eligible to apply for Bachelor programs such as BA, B.Ed., BBS, BBA, and BICTE. However, candidates who have completed their secondary education in the science stream are specifically eligible to apply for Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) programs.
DMC offers master’s level programs under the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FoHSS), Faculty of Education (FoE), and Faculty of Management (FoM) on a semester system basis.
Admission to these programs requires the successful completion of an entrance examination. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline are eligible to apply for Master of Arts (MA) and Master of Business Studies (MBS) programs. However, candidates seeking admission to the Master of Education (M.Ed.) program are generally required to have a bachelor’s degree in a related education discipline.

At DMC, we adopt the participatory method of teaching and learning which demands rigorous participation from both students and teachers. A careful blend of traditional classroom teaching with more contemporary techniques of learning is the key to increasing overall learning efficiency.
DMC has a team of dedicated faculty members with diverse academic backgrounds to deal with academic issues. They simplify and generalize complex matters with the help of proven pedagogical approaches.
Inquisitiveness is highly appreciated at DMC. Students are encouraged to interact with teachers even during leisure periods and holidays. Group discussions are organized frequently so that diverse ideas are shared. Students' learning achievement in internal exams and board exams is thoroughly analyzed, and feedback is provided to needy students.
Students are assigned projects relevant to course requirements. Project works are highly demanding as students need to demonstrate their ability to experiment, manage time, and practice presentation skills.
Students need to experience the application of their knowledge in the real world and also get some time away from the monotony of classroom learning. Therefore, DMC frequently organizes field trips to enhance practical learning.
DMC has started non-credit course classes and remedial classes. Non-credit course classes are targeted at enhancing practical and job-oriented skills. Such courses benefit students interested in learning skills relevant to locally and nationally available job opportunities. Similarly, remedial classes benefit students whose learning is below average level and who need additional coaching and feedback from teachers.
Five distinct scholarship funds have been established by local donors and educationists to support needy and deserving students at DMC. A new scholarship fund, with a goal of at least one crore rupees, is currently in progress to provide additional financial assistance.
Scholarships are awarded on the basis of students' academic performance and economic need, while full financial aid is offered to those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Additionally, a 20% freeship is available for students in regular programs at TU, and a 10% freeship is provided for those in internally funded programs.
DMC is well-equipped with modern laboratory and computer technology. It features separate science, computer, and cultural labs. The newly established cultural lab is dedicated to nurturing students' cultural talents and promoting indigenous dance and musical traditions.
Multimedia facilities are available in classrooms, with nearly all classrooms equipped with PowerPoint projectors. A 24-hour internet facility is provided for students and faculty, and audio-visual aids and other teaching tools are utilized as needed to enhance the learning experience.
Hostel facility is provided to students who hail from remote areas and who are from financially weak family backgrounds. The accommodation capacity of the hostel has recently been increased. Almost 100 students, including 25 boys and 75 girls, are provided with hostel facilities.
The college canteen serves healthy and hygienic food at a reasonable price throughout the day.
DMC features a well-equipped and fully automated library. Its extensive textbook collection meets the needs of growing students, while the reference section is robust, offering a wide range of books in social sciences, management, education, and science.
The library is further enriched by journals, study reports, and other reference materials. Additionally, DMC provides e-learning resources to all students and faculty through its connection with the e-resource network of Tribhuvan University Central Library (TUCL).
DMC has implemented an effective approach for managing extra-curricular and extension activities through the formation of an Extra-Curricular and Extension Committee. This committee organizes a range of sports and other activities throughout the academic year.
Each event aims to foster students' talents, enhance team spirit, and build lasting connections. The committee schedules these events according to the academic and operational calendar, strengthening the relationship between students and the community while highlighting the talents of DMC students.
DMC maintains a spacious playground with a variety of sports facilities. The expansive grounds and tranquil environment inspire sportsmanship among students and help develop their athletic skills. The institution organizes games including Table Tennis, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Chess, Football, and Cricket.
DMC has practiced measures to effectively involve students in the promotion of the overall quality of the campus. The Free Student Union (FSU), the representative body of students, is in place. The representative of FSU has been involved in all policy-making and monitoring bodies of the campus.
Student Quality Circles (SQC) have been formed in all classes/sections at the Bachelor level. SQC is assigned with reporting classroom tutorial as well as feedback activities performed by teachers. The SQC diary provided to each and every SQC must reflect the details of how punctually and effectively the tutorial activities are shared and performed.
